The rooms were stocked and tastefully decorated, with a bathtub. Extremely comfy bed and pillows, there were climate control, multi-channel television, and a seating area available.

The staff we met were not always friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Morris. The location is very central and close to everything we wanted to see. The property itself was so cozy and beautifully decorated. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was wonderful!

That was special and romantic hotel set in tourist area, next to Center City, and the historical sights. The location of the venue was marvellous - relatively close to Independence Hall. The staff was pleasant and we would stay here again.

The location and the charm of the old building. If you like very old houses, this house is perfect and in the condition you would expect. The room was perfect, clean and as large as any five start hotel room. The staff was friendly and very professional.

We arrived late in the evening and saw the beautiful courtyard and decided to have a light dinner. There were several romantic couples having dinner also, so the setting was perfect. However, when we looked at the menu for the M restaurant, it made no sense. There was nothing on the full page that sounded normal. So I ordered a salad type platter, thinking it would work as an appetizer. The name was something like branches, twigs, and leaves. It arrived as A carrot shaving, A celery shaving, some sauce and some other small leaves. The whole dinner salad wouldn't fill a tea cup. Strange. We ate it, left and went somewhere else for something to eat.

The Morris House Hotel is a lovely historical B & B. We had a mix up with our reservations and they were very gracious in changing our dates at the last minute. They were very helpful in helping us plan our visit. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The location is perfect if you are there to visit historical sites.

The only negative comments we would make was that the breakfast. There wasn't much to it, with a small variety.

It was a suitable place for sightseeing in Philadelphia and we had a lot of fun. The continental breakfast was our favorite. The free WiFi was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and didn't want to leave. We would be happy to recommend it.

The building.

You can hear pretty much everything if you're in the wrong room. Breakfast is poor and always the same. Would be nice if they could switch it up every day.
